OCT 2010

CWT Commodities (Amsterdam) BV is per 1 October 2010 accepted by GAFTA (Grain and Feed Trade Association) London. The company can now offer supervision and sampling for all products which traffics under the GAFTA contract such as cattle-feed, wheat etc.


MAY 2010

In the west coast of Africa, CWT Commodities Cote D'ivoire has been accredited the status as Superintendent Member by the international organization FOSFA (The Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations Ltd).


APR 2010

CWT Commodities (Amsterdam) BV have now been added to Liffe Guardian and the Liffe List of Nominated Warehousekeepers And Warehouses.


27 NOV 2009

On Friday 27th of November 2009 during the 64th Amsterdam Ports Association Dinner, Michael Wijsmuller, Chairman of the Amsterdam Ports Association, presented the exclusive Amsterdam Ports Medals 2009 to two CWT Sitos directors, Martin Versteeg and Dick de Bruin. This is the first time that two medals are awarded in the same year. In his speech, Mr. Wijsmuller singled out their achievements and contributions to the Amsterdam ports, emphasising the remarkable growth of CWT Sitos since its humble founding in 2002.


MAY 2009

CWT Sitos has welcomed 2 new staff members to the group. Mr Dirk-Jan Boelhouwer (52) has been appointed as the Group’s Operations Manager. He formerly worked with Furness, Frans Maas, DSV and Toshiba and is very experienced in food storage, transport and high racking warehouses.

Michel de Graaf (27) has started working at CWT Sitos as a management trainee. He recently graduated as a Master in Business at Nyenrode University.


16 January 2009

Sitos Amsterdam did trials with a new mobile palletizer for cocoa and coffee in bags, the machine will make the work more acceptable with respect to new labour rules and maximum lifting weight. It should also make the work more economical as it’s getting more difficult to get labour for this kind of work, the machine should give a better production and higher stacking.

Sitos Group and CWT group of Singapore closed on a 60% sale of Sitos group’s shares.
New Holding will be CWT Sitos B.V. All subsidiaries will be named Sitos Commodities with a link to their location.
